[Applause] did you know that one day Jesus is going to walk on water well actually he already has let me tell you this amazing Bible story one evening after feeding 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish Jesus told his disciples to get in a boat and go ahead of him to the other side of the Sea of Galilee and after sending them away he went up on a mountainside to pray but the disciples had a hard time the boat was tossed about in the waves and the wind and they struggled to make any progress and in the darkest hours before dawn they saw Jesus walking on the water toward them and when they saw him they were afraid but Jesus spoke to them and said “Take courage it is I don’t be afraid.” And Peter called out to him “If it’s really you tell me to come to you on the water.” And Jesus said “Come.” And Peter stepped out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus but when he saw the wind and the waves he was afraid and he started to sink but Jesus reached out his hand and saved him and Jesus said to him “You of little faith why did you doubt?” And when they got back in the boat the wind died down and the disciples worshiped him saying “Truly you are the son of God.” Moral even when life’s storms are raging Jesus is with us when we keep our eyes on him we can do the impossible but when we doubt fear will take over so trust in him and he will lift you up take courage it is I don’t be afraid matthew 14:27 [Music]
