Is it just about putting your phone away and paying attention to what’s in front of you? Or is there more to it than that? I’m curious about the specific components of being present: what does it feel like internally? What mental and emotional states are involved? How can you tell if you’re truly present versus just thinking you are? And, practically speaking, are there different degrees of presence? Can you be "mostly" present? Also, how does being present relate to things like focus, awareness, and even things like being creative or empathetic? Finally, are there any potential downsides to trying to be present all the time?
